Pet Gate

I never used this gate because I didn't want to make any holes on my walls (because I'm LAZY!) but it would've been nice. The good thing about this is that it blends with almost any decor. It doesn't stand out like a sore thumb when installed. Plus it's long enough to accomodate most wide spaces. I don't know the actual size though, but I've looked around online to find a wide enough gate and this is the only one that I found with top ratings.

This may be wide but if you want it to be out of the way, it could be folded back to how it was originally even while hinged to your wall and then use it like a door -- this way you can tuck it away from traffic when you have guests or are having a party.
